IMPORTANT RACE INFORMATION FOR 2010
Date of Race – Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, 7:30 a.m.

Entry Fee - $800 per crew for those shipping from Honolulu on Sept. 21.
$600 for all other crews.

Cost to ship koa same as other canoes. 

DATES – Sept. 15, 2010 – full payment must be received by Na Wahine O Ke Kai.  Payments received after Sept. 15 will increase by $100.  Send full payment to be received by Sept. 15 to Shelly Gilman, 12A Kailua Rd., Kailua HI, 96734.

Shipping – Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, 5:00 a.m. at Young Brothers.  All crews are responsible for loading canoes on platforms.  Bring manpower and ½ inch rope.  Padding to be provided.  No tires. Crews not shipping on Sept. 21 from Honolulu must make their own arrangements for payment, shipping and hauling to Lono. Do not bring tires to Lono.

Na Wahine has NO RULE OR REQUIREMENT for what jerseys you wear in the race.

Registration and merchandise sale Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, Outrigger Canoe Club 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Registration and merchandise sale on Molokai Friday, Sept. 24, 9:00 to 4:00 and Saturday, Sept. 25 9:00 to noon, at Paddlers Inn in Kaunakakai.

Coaches meeting Saturday, Sept. 25, 4:00 p.m. at Paddlers Inn.

Awards ceremony after the race at Ft. De Russy Beach in front of the Hale Koa Hotel.

Racing Experience – In an effort to determine experience levels of all crew members, all crews must answer questions regarding their racing experience and training in preparation for this race.
This will be posted on our website as part of the required forms.
